This old stone building dating back to 1856 was originally the dairy for the farm and then made into stables by later owners. We have now given it a new and sympathetic image, by mixing old with new and creating a large, four bedroom (sleeping 8) holiday cottage, all on the ground floor, beamed throughout. The entrance leads you into a large open plan room containing:
a fully fitted kitchen with large fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and electric cooker. (everything to take the strain out of a self-catering holiday for the larger family in fact!) Also within this area is the dining table.
The lounge area has a wood burning stove, TV and also a radio with CD player. French windows lead on to the patio. To the left of the entrance is a corridor with the following: Bedroom 1 has full sized bunk beds, then a family bathroom with bath, shower over, wash basin and WC. Bedroom 2 has a double bed with wash basin, Bedroom 3 has two single beds with en-suite wet room, suitable for a disabled person. A door leads on from this room to the master bedroom, which has a double bed and en-suite shower room. A glazed door leads to rear decking with ramp.
Outside:- Patio with furniture. Separate access to master bedroom via wooden steps and decking. Use of orchard with picnic table Ample parking for a minimum of 4 cars. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control as we have livestock nearby.
