We are a family run studio based in Pembrokeshire, South Wales, UK. We say that stained glass is not just for churches!! We can offer stained glass windows for the home, office, hotels and public buildings - as well as churches. We also undertake repair and restoration work for most types of stained glass. We run courses in the art of stained glass throughout the year - from beginners to advanced level - in all aspects of stained glass. These can be tailored to individual requirements, so you could, for instance spend three hours being creative in the glass studio whilst on holiday here and then go off to the beach for the afternoon. Alternatively, book in for weekend courses, staying in our self-catering accommodation (The Old Smokehouse, The Granary or Tiffany Cottage). The courses include:
If you have some old leaded lights that you want to repair or replace with new, and you fancy having a go at doing it yourself but think you don't have the skill - let us help! We can guide you through all the stages of construction in our studio to the completion of the finished article. Don't be afraid, have a go. We guarantee even beginners can complete a panel. By doing it yourself, you will be saving yourself money, plus have the immense satisfaction of being able to say "I made that!" Stained glass work created in our studio. |

This window was
actually created for the webmaster and was based on a photograph of his
girlfriend's motorcycle, the initial image is shown below and just demonstrates
our capabilities. Both people involved came and attended one of our glass
courses and learned how to make the window from start to finish, with
a lot of help from Liz of course... |

This window was
created for a client. To protect the actual stained glass element of the
window it has been sandwiched between two pieces of plain glass in a triple
glazed unit. This also provides additional insulation, reduces road noise
and is a great deal easier to clean!

Tissue box built by a course student to her own design. Restoration Work
A large, 4 section, panelled window we re-leaded for a private chapel in South Wales.
Looe church in Cornwall following a break-in. The would-be thieves totally broke the left bottom panel and badly damaged the middle one.
The window after our restoration.
The same church. We were handed the remains of the St Martin window in a shoe box! Only about 65% of the window had survived.
Commissioned repair and re-leading of front door panel. |
