This photo shows the front of The Granary

This tasteful conversion of the original stone granary consists of a cosy lounge/dining area at ground level (beamed), with modern fitted kitchen equipped to a high standard, including automatic washing machine. Stairs lead up to a landing, off which is the principle double bedroom, a bunk-bedded room and the bathroom with shower over bath, wash hand basin and WC.

Outside - The Granary has its own drive and parking area for up to two cars. You can enjoy the space of the South-facing garden and patio with furniture, barbeque and tools.

Pets are welcome but must be kept under control as livestock are near.

The Granary – Access Statement

Approached through a large gateway off the main farm drive onto hard standing between the cottage and the lawned garden.

A level patio with picnic table and barbeque take you to the 3 steps leading up to the front door. Although there is not a hand rail provided at the moment, we hope to be putting one in at the earliest opportunity.

The ground floor is open plan, consisting of kitchen/diner and lounge, with ample natural light. Task lighting provided as required.

Steps with hand rail lead up to the bedrooms – be aware the first step is slightly steeper than the rest – for reasons best known to the original builder!

First floor landing leads to full bathroom with shower over, double bedroom and second bedroom with full size bunk beds.

Service dogs are very welcome.
